R. John Brockmann

Role in DITA community

John Brockmann is the major historian of technical communications. He has documented the development of many of DITA's key techiques, such as task orientation, single source, modularity, and minimalism.

Professional background

John is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Delaware specializing in Business and Technical Writing.

His work has one awards from the Society of Technical Communications and teh Association of Computing Machinery.
