DITA CommunitiesDITA.XML.ORG is the official community gathering place and information resource for the DITA OASIS Standard. The standard is advanced through an open process by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee, a group that encourages new participation from developers and users. DITA.XML.ORG is a community-driven site, and the public is encouraged to contribute content. California: Silicon Valley DITA users group This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month. To encourage topic-based structured authoring in the wider CM Pros community in general and on the CM Pros website in particular. This community will provide a technical resource for members who want to learn XML authoring and editing, specifically using the new DITA XML initiative from OASIS. This group put the DITA Open Toolkit online at CM Pros, but it was never used by members. Provides online authoring, editing, building and processing tools to help members getting started with topic-based structured writing. Uses the DITA Storm web-based editor and the DITA Open Toolkit installed on the server. Members have personal workspace folders on the web. Deliverables include XHTML, PDF, and Eclipse Help.
